Sirius' silver eyes widened as he heard Vonna collapse. He released her ankle as if it was made of heated steel and forced his head up. The pressure of the elbow digging into his back increased uncomfortably, but he shoved up further despite it. "Vonna, are you alight?" He tried to drag himself out, further straining away from the weight above him. "I'm sorry!"
"I didn--" THWACK! James' hand came down upon Sirius' head. Stars winked in front of Sirius' eyes as he felt the cold stone floor against his forehead again. However, a moment later, he felt the weight lift off of him as James pushed himself up. Sirius could not help but protest on the placement of James' hand. "MOVE YOUR DAMNED, SNITCH-DRIVEN APPENDAGE."

{I assume you meant 'alright' as oppsed to 'alight' XD}
She snorted crudely at the apology the raven-haired Black sent her way, her eyes breezing over his less than dignified demeanor, the contempt in her sapphire eyes shone through the reflexive tearing and pain. "It's fine" She muttered haughtily at him, she would have left being in his eyesight if she could, but everything she needed to do to escape seemed to require the use of her injured hand. Even if she bandaged it (which she did do with a disgruntled 'Ferula') she would still have to get help to stand up, not being able to support herself on that hand.
Turning away, she'd been about to summon her owl to let Madam Pomfrey know of her injuries in advance (ever the practical witch) when she heard the sharp slap of James accidentally hitting Sirius and sending him to the floor. It was Vonna's turn to widen her eyes and ask , "Are you ok?" she asked, the concern in her voice mingling with the clear amusement. Served him right. Actually, he deserved a fractured skull as opposed to just a large bruise. She find herself feeling momentarily sorry for him until the vindictive, vengeful Vonna came back into life, laughing heartily as Sirius chastised James on his 'appendage'.
