Had it been luck... or..... bad luck to be more precisely? What had led him to this current situation? As Kieran ran through the corridors of the second floor, with the fuming mad janitor running behind him, he tried to remember what had ticked the janitor off.
As Kieran could recall, he had been talking to one of the pretty Hufflepuff girls in his Herbology class when they'd walked inside the Entrance Hall where the janitor was washing the floor. Of course, Kieran, being as off balanced as always and slipped on the wet floor. Along with him, a couple of Dungbombs fell out from his pockets on the newly washed floor. Of course, it led to a furious janitor and a running Kieran.
Thinking about it make Kieran smile as he dodged a pair of first years, most likely scaring them for life. Rounding a corner he ran straight into someone, loosing both speed and time as he didn't exactly want to get caught. It was a miracle Kieran had stayed on his feet as he'd crashing into someone, he was usually the person to go falling. Blinking rapidly, Kieran heard the janitor coming up close behind him, if he didn't do anything fast, he'd be caught.
Seeing the Broom Cupboard door being open, Kieran immediately reacted. However, with a seemingly confused person in front of him, Kieran just pushed the other person inside the cupboard as well, without seeing who it was, he had no time for that. After quickly pushing the person inside the cupboard, as well as himself, Kieran peeked out from a creak in the door just in time to see the janitor run by. Letting out a sigh of relief, Kieran then realized what he'd done.
Why had he pushed the person inside with him? Grinning, Kieran looked over at the person he'd pushed inside with him, he put on his most innocent looking face as he said: "Ehhe.... hi!" in a soft cheerful voice.

A pair of silvery blue eyes gazed back into Kieran's bright blue ones. Sirius Black had been knocked down by Kieran's hurried shove, and was awkwardly holding himself up by having one hand placed on an upturned bucket, one hand clawing the wall, and his legs bent at the knees in order to keep his feet the only part of his body on the ground. The black hood of his robes were up, but poked out unnaturally on the sides of Sirius' head. As if finding Sirius in a closet wasn't odd enough, this detail in itself was strange. Sirius usually made a point of saying his perfect hair was a gift he was obligated to share with the world. Added to the flighty expression on his face, it was easy to see something was not normal.
The seventh year seemed to relax slightly as he realized who he was now sharing the small, enclosed space with. Hurriedly, Sirius scrambled back to his feet and drew up to his full height. He attempted to regain his composure by banishing the surprised expression from his face and replacing it with an aloof self-assuredness. He smiled down at Kieran. "Fancy meeting you here."

Fancy meeting you here!
Kieran's eyes widen in surprise at the smooth voice reached his ears. He of course, missed Sirius' surprised face as Sirius was always cool in his eyes. Kieran's eyes quickly began to sparkle as he tackled Sirius in a hug, like a small child seeing his brother for the first time in a long time. "Sirius!" he exclaimed happily, releasing the hug.
"Oh my God! I'm so lucky to have been running into you! The janitor was running after me and I was like waaaaaaahh and then I knocked into you, which I'm sorry for by the way, and I donno what came over me and I was like BWWWAH as the janitor came up close and just a second ago he ran past us and I'm sooooooo relived!" Kieran grinned as he babbled on. He was known for talking fast about nothing and anything.
Kieran grinned wildly, looking at Sirius, enjoying the closeness. Kieran was the type of guy who loved hugs, closeness and talking. He was a guy of feeling, some would call it superficial, but Kieran just called it "loving everyone".
"Hum, by the way, this is kind of unusual, where's your stack of girl stalkers? Don't say I pushed them with me in here?" Kieran asked, looking around, expecting a hysterical girl to jump out from the shadows.

Sirius patiently listened to Kieran’s account of events that lead him in this small enclosed area with himself. At the mention of ‘stalkers’, the popular seventh year rolled his eyes. “No, I’ve been keeping a low profile all day,” he said. “And if anyone asks, I’m up in the dormitories studying for N.E.W.T.s. That’s why all the seventh years got the day off… But I have bigger fish to fry.” The boy didn’t put much pressure on himself when it came to tests. Naturally, he scored well into the top percentiles.
However, he still looked rather fidgety. If the tests weren’t bothering him, then something else certainly was. “Kieran, how good are you at transfiguration?” He asked abruptly. “I’d ask Prongs, but he’d spend five hours exploiting me for his own amusement before he’d help… and if I asked Remus he’d say ‘I told you so’ for just as long… and god knows, I wouldn’t trust Peter with it, bless his squib-ish little heart…” The seventh year trailed off, then set his eyes upon Kieran’s face again, waiting for the response.

No, I've been keeping a low profile all day. Kieran grinned and snickered slightly with small closed eyes, much like a shy cartoon cat. And if anyone asks, I'm up in the dormitories studying for N.E.W.T.s. That's why all the seventh years got the day off... But I have bigger fish to fry.
Kieran grinned again, nodding his head. "Yeah, I totally agree. Being here with me must be so much better than studying with your buds for, gee, I donno, the biggest most important test of all," Kieran said sticking out his tongue. It was amazing how the little sixteen year old could talk so highly of himself without sounded the slightest bit arrogant.
"Anywayzzzza, I think ya'll do good no matter how hard... or... not so hard you study," Kieran quickly added with an innocent smile.
His electric blue eyes sparkled as he looked at Siruis. Kieran loved to flirt... with just about anyone. You name it, cat, dog, girl, boy, tree (eheee?), Kieran just loved it. It was fun and made time fly. Although, it did in fact happen that he met someone who simply hated the way he acted. But, it didn't bother Kieran too much. He knew he was an annoyance to most people, but he also knew they couldn't stay too mad at him for too long. Even Severus had cracked a smile with him, much to Kieran's huge joy.
Kieran, how good are you at transfiguration? I'd ask Prongs, but he'd spend five hours exploiting me for his own amusement before he'd help... and if I asked Remus he'd say "I told you so" for just as long… and god knows, I wouldn't trust Peter with it, bless his squib-ish little heart...
Kieran frowned slightly, this was where he reached the point of wanting to lie. Transfiguration was a drag... school was mostly a drag. Laughing slightly innocently with a hit of pretend nervousness, Kieran grinned. "Eeeeeehhhheee.... well, if I told you I'd rock, it would be a lie, but I don't want to not-lie cause then I would probably spend less time with you, soo..... well, I rock at Transfiguration!" Kieran said satisfied with his complicated answer. Of course, nothing was left un-complicated when he was around, most people knew that. The most easiest yes and no question could turn out to be quite the ramble for little Kieran.
